توقيع مذكرة تفاهم بين الهيئة السعودية للمُلكية الفكرية ورابطة الدوري السعودي للمحترفين
وقعت اليوم مذكرة تفاهم بين الهيئة السعودية للمُلكية الفكرية، ممثلةً بالرئيس التنفيذي للهيئة الدكتور عبد العزيز بن محمد السويلم ورابطة دوري المحترفين السعودي لكرة القدم، ممثلةً برئيس مجلس إدارة رابطة الدوري السعودي للمحترفين مسلي آل معمر.
يأتي توقيع مذكرة التفاهم بهدف التوعية عن حقوق المُلكية الفكرية واحترامها بما فيها العلامات التجارية، من خلال إقامة ورش العمل التعريفية إضافة إلى إقامة دورات للمختصين في الأندية لتسجيل وحماية حقوق المُلكية الفكرية، إضافة إلى الوصول للمجتمع الرياضي وتعزيز مفهوم المُلكية الفكرية.
ويسعى الطرفان من خلال المذكرة إلى إعداد البرامج والفعاليات والأنشطة المتعلقة بالمُلكية الفكرية، وتحديد الأماكن والفئات المستهدفة بالتوعية.
وأشار الرئيس التنفيذي للهيئة الدكتور عبد العزيز بن محمد السويلم إلى أهمية تعزيز العلاقة مع رابطة الدوري السعودي للمحترفين وغيرها من الجهات والتي من خلالها ستقوم الهيئة بتحقيق مجموعة من أهدافها الاستراتيجية وتقديم خدماتها للمستثمرين بالرياضة والأندية الرياضية بالمملكة واللاعبين والمجتمع الرياضي، مثمناً التعاون المشترك بين الهيئة والرابطة.
من جهته أكد رئيس مجلس إدارة الرابطة مسلي آل معمر أن الاتفاقية تهدف إلى تفعيل إحدى الجوانب التي تُعنى بها الرابطة بشأن استثمار أمثل لحماية الحقوق الفكرية للأندية، بالإضافة إلى الحد من الانتهاكات لحقوق المُلكية الفكرية واتخاذ الإجراءات اللازمة لمعالجة الهدر المالي للأندية مشيراً إلى أن الرابطة بالتعاون مع الهيئة السعودية للملكية الفكرية حريصة على التوعية للأندية بحفظ الحقوق واحترامها.

Signing of Memorandum of Understanding between Saudi Authority for Intellectual Property and Saudi Professional League

A memorandum of understanding has been signed today between Saudi Authority for Intellectual Property (SAIP) represented by SAIP’s CEO Dr. Abdulaziz Alswailem and Saudi Professional League represented by Chairman of the Board of Directors Musalli Almuammar.
The signing of memorandum of understanding aims to raise awareness of intellectual property rights and its respect including trademarks by conducting induction workshops as well as training courses for the members of the clubs to register and protect intellectual property rights in order to reach sport community and enhance the concept of intellectual property.
The two parties seek through this memorandum of understanding to prepare programs, events and activities related to intellectual property. In addition, they will specify places and target people.
Chief Executive Officer of Saudi Authority for Intellectual Property (SAIP) Dr. Abdulaziz Alswailem mentioned the importance of enhancing relationship with Saudi Professional League and other entities through which SAIP will achieve a set of its strategic goals and to provide its services to sports and sport clubs investors, players and sport community in KSA. He appreciated the joint cooperation between SAIP and SPL.
Chairman of the Board of Directors Musalli Almuammar assured that the memorandum of understanding aims to activate one aspect covered by the league regarding investment of intellectual property rights for the clubs as well as limiting intellectual property rights violations and to take required measures to overcome financial waste of clubs. He also pointed out that SPL by cooperating with SAIP is keen to raise awareness of intellectual property rights and its respect.
